What families say
Two ways to learn
A pod is a small group of up to 4 students led by an experienced tutor Skye mentors every fortnight. Each pod session focuses on one key concept from Skye’s curriculum, matched to the students’ year level. It targets the gaps schools often skip and the skills students need for senior school.
How the Pods work
Every pod: One hour, 5 steps

Burning questions
-
Pods give your child the same framework at a lower price, in a small group of up to four. Students often learn from hearing each other's questions, and explaining their thinking to someone else helps it stick. Skye's own 1:1 sessions are currently fully booked, so pods are also how we can offer her approach to more families, taught by tutors she trains and mentors.
-
Groups are capped at four. Every session starts with each student attempting a real question, so the tutor sees exactly where each child gets stuck and teaches to that gap. With four students, there's time for the tutor to check in with each of them throughout the session.
-
We match pods by year level, and we'll ask about where your child is up to when you join. Tutors see where each student is stuck from the opening question and adjust. If a pod isn't the right fit, we'll talk to you about moving to a better match.
-
One free pod session. There is no obligation to continue afterwards
-
Pod’s can be paid for on a week-by-week basis priced at $50 a session, OR via our term subscription model which includes 10 pod sessions. 1:1 sessions with Skye are priced at $110 per session.
-
You save money, and you get more… 1 pod session per week for a 10 week term, access to online learning materials and videos created and uploaded by our tutors, weekly casual ‘question time’ drop in sessions, and a $50 saving across a school term compared to one off payments.
-
We understand that plans change! If your child can't attend, we'll do our best to arrange a make-up pod session.
For weekly bookings, we ask for at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
For term bookings, we include up to three make-up sessions per 10-week term, giving your family extra flexibility when life gets busy.
